PROJECT SOLUTIONS FROM JARD

Here are some recent examples of projects produced by JARD
for clients with a variety of application needs.

Challenge

A scientific research institute needed a

presentation model as part of a funding proposal.

The client provided CAD files for the proposed project,

a 120 ft. satellit

e dish, and requested that the model be

created at the same scale as an existing hand-built

Solution

JARD scaled the project files to create a

12-in. model. It was printed in 4 sections, the largest of

which was the dish with its support braces. For a

realistic appearance, the dish was lined with foil and

fitted with cross wires. A shipping case was specified

and ordered to transport the model across the country.

Challenge:

A large architecture firm needed to

communicate design concepts to clients who were

having difficulty visualizing a proposed project.

Quick

turnaround was essential to meet a presentation

deadline.

Solution:

JARD resized existing project files and printed

building models to fit a table-sized Google Earth

graphic. Models were printed with building names on the

bottom for easy positioning.
